Process/supervision

Overall:
  • Seminar for Bachelor’s thesis: Preparation of exposé, interim or final presentation and structured consultation (see points 3-8 in the schedule)
  • For information on scope and formatting, including the template, see the link
  • Grading period: usually 4-6 weeks, max. 2 months (according to examination regulations) after thesis has been handed in
1.Information on thesis topics on the website of the junior professorship
2.Contact: Please send an e-mail with a brief description of your motivation for the respective topic as well as a current CV and transcript of records to: lisa.handke@fau.de

– Application deadline summer semester: end of February
– Application deadline winter semester: end of July
3.Initial Consultation: clarification/specification of the topic, outline of the research question
4.Exposé: basis for the Bachelor thesis
5.Consultation (and/or written feedback) on the exposé
6.Consultation on methodology (design, recruitment strategies, measurement, etc.)
7.If required: Consultation on data analysis
8.Formal Registration of the Master thesis
9.Send first version for feedback by e-mail

At least 1 month before submission
